Water does more to speed your fat loss than any other simple thing you can do. If you don't drink enough, the body retains what it has & this hinders the ability of the kidneys-which causes the body to accumulate waste products. This requires the liver to rid the body of impurities & neglect one of its main jobs-metabolizing stored fats. The more water you drink, the faster fat is swept away! DRINK UP!!!!
Some tips to improve your results:

1. Use a 32-ounce water bottle with a straw. Continuous sipping is more effective & easier then drinking a big glass now and then.
2. Drink 4, 32-ounce bottles a day the first week and increase to 5 the second. You may need to increase this at a slower pace depending on how much you drink now!
3. Drink the majority of your water by 5:00 P.M. This will help eliminate frequent nightly trips to the bathroom. The first week will prove to be the hardest & you may visit the bathroom more than usual. However, during the second week the bladder will adjust & you will urinate less frequently but in larger amounts.
4. KEEP IT COLD. It takes over 200 calories to warm a gallon of ice cold water to core body temperature. This equals added calorie burn. (Ice cold water should not be consumed during or immediately following exercise)
5. Water by any other name is not the same. Coffee, pop, tea, fruit juices, etc. do not contain the same chemical make-up as plain water & therefore don't offer the same fat loss benefits. Actually, some of these can have an adverse effect on fat loss. To spice up your water, drop in a sprig of mint or slice of lemon or lime.
