turn Gallons to Quarts

In our day to day lives, we occasionally need to convert gallons to quarts, pints or cups. We are about to showcase some relevant seminar that will hopefully help you work with these type of conversions.

Were you ever left wondering how many cups will equal a quart? Or did you ever feel like hitting the library wondering how many quarts are in one gallon - and that even in the middle of something you are doing at home? It could assuredly help you had a diagram or something like that hanged on your kitchen wall to help you out.

Just taking a quick look at it would be just sufficient to tell you how to make the conversion. And you would not feel lost trying to convert gallons to quarts or pints to cups. So here is our suggestion. Just draw a straightforward diagram that you can hang on your wall or something. This will help you to not just learn but keep hold of all the crazy arithmetic facts.

If you succeed these tips, there should not be any kind of guessing about whether a pitcher is going to work or what. This means, those drink mixes would not be any longer a thing of guesswork.

Start by drawing one gallon. You will do it by drawing a big G. As you can guess, this is supposed to represents 1 gallon. Then you have to do something to remind yourself that 4 quarts equals to one gallon. So, inside your big G, you need to draw 4 Q' s. Thus each and every Q equals to a quart. As you can understand, just finding at the diagram will remind you of the fact that one gallon contains four. A great way to mentally convert gallons to quarts!

Then you need to also remember that there are two pints in each quart. This means, simply by counting, you have 8 pints within 1 gallon. Or if you see it form the other way around, you will see 4 pints in.5 gallon.

Though we were talking about how to convert gallons to quarts, let us add a itsybitsy bit more to our fun project. You know that a pint has tow cups, right? In each and every P you will draw 2 C' s. Here, each C represents 1 cup. Yes! You guessed right! There are exactly 16 cups inside 1 gallon. Similarly a typical 2-quart pitcher can hold 8 cups.
